As the trailhead for three different trails—Montour Trail, Ohio River Greenway Trail and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail—Coraopolis is a dream destination for walkers, hikers and cyclists. The town’s waterways are part of the Three Rivers Water Trail, a National Recreation Trail. The appeal of “Cory” goes far beyond its natural amenities. Created through Pennsylvania’s Department of Community & Economic Development Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) with support from Dollar Bank, the grant program provides one-time $1,000 mini grants to qualifying small businesses within the Borough of Coraopolis. The grants are meant to provide the Coraopolis small business community with critical and flexible gap funding needed to help sustain business models throughout mandated pandemic closures.
